Employee Testimonial:
My name is Dave Spear, and I was an employee with Plumas Pines Resort from 2014-2016. I literally had no idea how Plumas Pines would change my life, but it has and I’m incredibly grateful for that.
I started out working as a marina attendant, which was probably the best job I’ll ever have. Nothing beats getting to work outdoors and on the water all day. It can be hard work, don’t get me wrong, but if you love sun, being active, and interacting with people who are relatable and having a great time, you’ll love this job. The experience of being on the dock after sunrise or at sunset can’t be overstated.
Then in the fall of 2014 and through the summers of 2015-2016, I waited tables at Plumas Pines Bar & Grill. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment in the service industry and can’t name better people than the ones I worked for and with. Plumas Pines is a family, and I met so many people over those three years that I’ll keep in contact with for the rest of my life. I was even lucky enough to turn a co-worker into my soon-to-be wife! The resort managers are fair, extremely decent people who really do work everyday to make sure their facilities run smoothly and their employees are taken care of. If you can get a job here, absolutely take advantage of the opportunity. You won’t regret it.
