Lake Almanor Recreation Trail

    Spectacular views of Lake Almanor, Dyer Mountain and Lassen Volcanic National Park can be found along the entire route of the 9 ½ mile Lake Almanor Recreation trail. This multiuse trail winds through beautiful stands of stately pine, fir and incense cedar, as well as meadows, a campground, a simmer home tract and several lakeshore areas that will invite you to take a swim or try your luck at fishing. The trail is ten feet wide and has a paved surface. No motorized vehicles, saddle or pack stock allowed.

 

Almanor West Golf Club

    A championship 9 hole golf course is a short drive away.

 

Spectacular Mt. Lassen

    The center of the spectacular Lassen National Park is just 45 minutes away. Nature trails both guided and unguided abound. Take an exhilarating daytime hike to the top of Mt. Lassen (10,500'), or hike to Bumpass Hell (May 1 to November 1) and view ongoing geothermal activity.
